#258 – Filthy Gears, Nazar, OOIOO, Ans M, Pö

Some rough, brilliant experimental sounds this week, one highlight being the brilliant rough Kuduro from Angola’s Nazar, who follows his brilliant Enclave EP with a first LP for Hyperdub. Also from Africa there’s Ghanaian experimentation from Phillipines label Syrphe, we also have punk from Atlanta, psych from Japan, Greek folk, and loads more good stuff.

*Please note: this episode was recorded and released before Wiley outed himself as a racist anti-semite. If he had done this before, we would not have aired his music and will not do so in future*

  1. Still no download button on this stuttering player. Not everyone streams from a wireless device. We like to download and place on an mp3 player independent of an internet connection.

    • Hi Emmett, as mentioned before, we’re having to change hosts due to spiralling costs (given we don’t make money, don’t have sponsorship and our Patrons just about cover all the tech costs we have). We’re working on putting download functionality in, but the new host doesn’t make it easy and we’re not tech-minded people. If you want to download an episode, you should be able to use a third-party tool to download the mp3. Or, as mentioned before, you could send an email to me and I can send you the mp3 directly.
