#394 – Favourites of 2022, part one

Every year we’re astounded by the onslaught of superb music, and our favourites of 2022 really reflect the global nature of sublime experimental sounds.

From Brazil to Uganda, Palestine to Afghanistan, we’re taking in ancient folk, forward-focused hip-hop, donk bangers, death metal from fluffy toy masters, and everything inbetween that we can squeeze into ten tracks.

Part two is coming next week.

You can listen to the first six tracks for free. To listen to the full episode, get a huge back catalogue of music, and access to our live shows and Discord group, please join our Patreonpatreon.com/independentmusicpodcast. The podcast only survives with Patron support
