Lots of rare, innovative and new music in the hour this week. We have new releases from Egyptian/Italian/New York producer Mutamassik, Bardo Pond, Colin Stetson and Arcade Fire’s Sarah Neufeld. There are new reissues from Parisian electro pioneer Bernard Fevre and a previously extremely rare Ghanian record from Ata Kak. Throw in a spectacular piece from Sun Ra and John Coltrane collaborator Pharaoh Sanders, a live recording from the inimitable David Thomas Broughton and a rare slice of explicit 80s disco and you have another hour’s genre mash-up of the highest quality.
