The new Anna Meredith is a real highlight, as is the latest single from Sarathy Korwar’s magnificent new LP. We also have Anna Meredith’s rework of Antonio Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, a collaboration between Throwing Snow and Will Plowman under the Swaabi Maa moniker to celebrate the birthday of their A Future Without Records, and lots of good music from Portugal, Germany, Niger and beyond.

Weird electronic noises this week, with something very special from the complete unknown I Know I’m an Alien. We’ve got a 10-minute opener from Maserati, who played their first ever UK show last week. Also new reggae from Berlin’s iLLBiLLY HiTEC, extremely good glitchy sounds from Anna Meredith and some sublime jazz from Austin’s Epirus Quartet. Loads of more great sounds too, including drone from Belgium’s Aymeric de Tapol, cosmic jazz from The Comet is Coming, noise from Anna Von Hausswolff, folktronica reissue from Capital K, and some offcut electronic sounds from Tobacco’s band Black Moth Super Rainbow.
