Music to stretch your ears to on the show this week, with lots of wonderful mammoth tunes, including the sublime new track from Matmos, which clocks in just shy of ten minutes.

We’re also honoured to have a premiere of the fabulous new Planet Battagon track on the On the Corner Records dancefloor sampler, which is out later this month. Sticking with the dancefloor, there’s experimental cuts from AYA, mysterious French artist Floco Floco, and the brilliant Reece Cox. Even by our usual standards, this podcast is eclectic. We start things off with the mesmerising experimental electronics of Eartheater. Beyond that, we have a Polish-Malawian post-everything project, intense percussion music from Portugal’s HHY & The Macumbas, the first release in six years from psych masters Sloath, a 14-minute chamber pop opus from Daniel O’Sullivan, and a 24-minute track from Sly & the Family Drone’s Matt Cargill and UKAEA’s Dan Jones.

The brilliant Metro Crowd LP on Maple Death Records is a journey in its own right, and its opening track – a dubby, abstract corker – kicks us on our own journey this week.
